Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Instructor for our Business Program to join our dynamic faculty team. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for teaching and a wealth of real-world business experience to deliver engaging, student-centered instruction.
As a Business Instructor, you will contribute to the delivery of curriculum, ensuring alignment with academic standards and industry needs. Curriculum-related tasks will be developed in collaboration with our Manager of Academics and Program Excellence, ensuring a unified approach to program delivery and excellence in education.
QUALIFICATIONS
· A combination of at least 6 years of education and experience in the business field (e.g., a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related discipline and relevant professional experience).
· Teaching experience at the post-secondary level is an asset but not required.
· Strong knowledge of business concepts such as marketing, management, finance, entrepreneurship, and operations.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in an understandable manner.
· Proficiency in integrating technology and digital tools into teaching.
· A commitment to fostering a student-centered learning environment.
· Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
Responsibilities:
· Deliver engaging and interactive lectures, seminars, and workshops on business topics.
· Collaborate with the Manager of Academics and Program Excellence to develop and update curriculum that reflects current industry trends and best practices.
· Assess student performance through assignments, projects, and exams.
· Provide guidance and mentorship to students to help them achieve their academic and professional goals.
· Incorporate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.
· Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages collaboration and critical thinking.
· Stay updated on industry developments and bring real-world insights into the classroom.
· Collaborate with colleagues to enhance program delivery and maintain academic standards.
