SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Have qualifications at least Advanced Diploma/Tafe or higher qualifications in music or music education
• Able to teach lessons to both group and private students, for primary school students
• Teaching two instruments is an advantage (the 2nd instrument at least at a beginner level)
• Be willing to be involved in all aspects of our music program including, concerts and assemblies
• Organisational skills, including timetabling of students and travelling between schools
• Current Victorian Working With Children Check
• Teaching experience in primary schools and experience teaching would be highly advantageous
• Can commit to work until the end of the school year at least 1 day a week (during school hours)
• Has a car/own transport would be highly advantageous!!
  Job Types: Part-time, Casual
  Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
  Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week

Schedule:

• Afternoon shift
• Morning shift
• No weekends

Supplementary Pay:

• Retention bonus

Education:

• Advanced Diploma / Associate Degree (Preferred)

Experience:

• music teaching: 2 years (Preferred)
• teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
• Teaching children: 1 year (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 50% (Preferred)
