Our team in Canada is growing. We are recruiting an Instrumentation and Control Engineer - GTA to join our Mining and Metals line in the Toronto/Burlington office.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the engineering and design team from FEED through scoping and Detailed Engineering to Construction support.
- Developing capital cost estimates for feasibility study and detail engineering proposals
- Monitoring costs associated with the selection, cost and installation of Instrumentation and Control System equipment
- Design instrumentation related engineering deliverables, i.e., instrument indexes, installation details, location drawings, datasheets, wiring drawings, loop drawings, P&ID’s, material requisitions, evaluation of alternatives and selection of instruments, calculations (control valve, flow elements, pressure safety valves), document control logs, bill of materials and instrument change approvals, construction work package.
- Design controls related engineering deliverables, i.e., logic drawings, termination/ wiring diagrams, block diagrams, panel layouts, control system topology/ control system architecture, control narrative, and cable schedule.
- Participates in HAZOP reviews and in other technical, constructability and quality reviews.
