I&C DESIGNERS (JR, INTERMED, SR) – HERMOSILLO

Our team in Hermosillo is ramping up for a detailed engineering design on a gold processing plant. The processing plant will produce gold dore and antimony concentrate by a process that includes; crushing, grinding, flotation, concentrate handling and filtration (antimony) as well as pressure oxidation, CIP and elutions (gold). We are currently recruiting for several Electrical Designers at all levels to join our Minerals and Metals Business line in the Hermosillo office.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop control systems for mineral processing facilities.
  • Prepare and create common deliverables include loop drawings, communications network diagrams, instrument location plans, termination drawings, plant control system layout drawings, cable tray and conduit routing diagrams, and panel layouts.
  • Develop models, design and drafting using advanced modeling and assembly practices within a 3D solid modeling CAD (SmartPlant) I&C environment
  • Work under the direction of Electrical Engineers to develop working drawings from conceptual layout to detailed construction document packages for submission.
  • Use thorough knowledge of electrical codes and standards in everyday design work.
  • Coordinate work with other discipline engineers and designers.
  • Perform defined assignments with independent judgment and a high degree of accuracy while maintaining the consistency of drawings with other departments
