Responsibilities:
- In this role, you will have ownership of US subsidiaries’ workers’ compensation and auto liability claims process and management of third-party adjustors appointed to administer claims
- Responsible for daily management of workers’ compensation and auto accident claims including: control of claims including internal communications with Legal, local operations, safety personnel and co-ordination of third-party administrators, negotiation of policy contracts and commercial content with brokers and insurers, participate as subject matter expert in internal teams related to commercial contract discussions with customers and suppliers, daily support to US operational businesses on insurance topics
- You will be a key contributor to daily department operations; supporting third party service provider selection, negotiations and contract development, budget preparation, cost management, allocation and invoicing, operational enhancements and strategic projects in the insurance field and cross training of department colleagues to enhance teamwork and knowledge
- You will interface with third Party Service providers (notably insurers, insurance brokers, loss adjusters, actuaries), internal tax, legal and procurement professionals and management, finance colleagues in business units tasked with local insurance responsibility, local operations and safety personnel
