POSITION OVERVIEW:
A successful Desjardins Agent is seeking a qualified professional to join their winning team for the role of Insurance & Financial Services Specialist - Desjardins Agent Team Member. We seek an energetic professional interested in helping our business grow through value-based conversations and remarkable customer experience. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- OTL or RIBO and/or LLQP License perferred but not required at the time of interview
- OTL will need to be obtained prior to start date at applicant cost with employer reimbursement after meeting set employment criteria
- LLQP will be required within 3 months of employment start date
- Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
- Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Proactive in problem-solving
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to make presentations to potential customers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to work in a Team environment
- You are required to have a valid driver’s license
- You will be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate

Responsibilities:
- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and the sale of appropriate products and services
- Work with the agent and other Team Members to establish and meet/exceed stated sales goals/targets
- Respond to client questions and concerns including: coverages, policy changes, claim submissions, billing concerns, etc.
