Description:

Insurance Approval Clerk staff need to serve the patient in Perform specified routine procedures such as greeting , directing patients , answering routine/administrative inquiries and billing process and providing a unique service and care

EDUCATION

Bachelor Degree in any course

EXPERIENCE

1-2 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Responsibilities:

Adheres to established Reception departmental policies and procedures and initiates
action in attending to the patients as per established procedures

Responsible for being courteous and prompt in attending the patient, with the basic idea of
“rendering service with a smile”

Verify all insurance information obtains from the insurance section, and in overall responsible for insurance accurateness and performing related work as required.

Maintain approval data in hospital management system
5
Verifies all insurance benefits assigned to the clinic to determine insurance coverage meets the standards as per the company policy

Check and monitor the updating of insurance data base in line with each medical insurance policy.

Works with insurance carriers and vendors in resolving customer issues or concerns

Maintains departmental records and files, and takes care of departmental equipment
9
Participates in departmental meetings and related in-service educational programs

Provide day-to-day staff support as appropriate, to include preparation of documents, collection and verification of records, and maintenance of data on clinical activity.

Able to do extra miles related to insured patients issues to avoid any business loos.

Maintain the correct processes of billing related to cash cases and insurance cases as well to avoid any business loss.

To be aware about policies and procedures as well professional implementing to enrich the patient experience

Maintain Customer Service Dept. guidelines as well agreed Memos related to the daily routine as well be able to professionally implement.

Provide extra mile service to ensure high level patient satisfaction.

Maintain an attractive and charming personality. Considering clean and crisp uniform all the time as well personal hygiene.

Handles phone enquiries from patients and others and communicating through emails. As well able to update the patients about their issues which is related to insurance.

Ensures quality and patient safety practices are followed.
