Description:

We are in search of an Insurance Coordinator to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry. The individual will take on the crucial role of managing our organization’s insurance processes. This includes coordinating and managing insurance claims, verifying coverage, liaising with insurance providers, and ensuring timely and accurate billing.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare and submit insurance claims
  • Track and follow up on unpaid claims, denials, and appeals for prompt resolution
  • Coordinate with our billing department to resolve any discrepancies in claims
  • Communicate with vendors regarding their insurance coverage and address inquiries related to insurance matters
  • Maintain regular communication with insurance companies to ensure smooth claim processing
  • Negotiate with insurance providers on behalf of the organization to resolve any issues
  • Stay updated on changes in insurance policies and procedures and partner with carriers around insurance safety recommendations for different properties
  • Handle insurance renewals, invoices, and endorsements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all insurance-related activities
  • Prepare regular reports on insurance claims, denials, and reimbursements for management review
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
  • Identify areas for improvement in insurance coordination processes and work collaboratively with other departments to implement best practices in insurance management.
  • Must be proficient in CRM systems for managing client relationships.
  • Excellent Calendar Management skills are required for scheduling appointments and meetings.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
  • Experience dealing with C-Suite executives and managing their requirements is necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with Yardi Property Management/Yardi Software/Yardi Voyager/Yardi systems is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have a proactive approach and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required.
  • Must possess a strong work ethic and high level of integrity.
