Description:

Position: Insurance Customer Service Rep
Location: Watertown
POSITION SUMMARY: This position plays a vital role in supporting our insurance agents in providing excellent customer service to our clients. You will be responsible for a range of duties including repricing policies, portfolio maintenance, cross-selling, and handling various clerical tasks.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Requires a minimum of high school diploma or equivalent. A two or four year degree in business management or accounting preferred.
  • Two years of insurance business or related experience is preferred.

OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Ability to communicate well with customers and employees, both verbal and written.
  • Profession demeanor and appearance.
  • Maintain the integrity of highly confidential customer and bank financial information.
  • Willingness to assume responsibility.
  • Must ensure the security of all electronic data defined confidential by Reliabank.

Responsibilities:

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Service existing customers and client’s claims in an efficient manner. Act as liaison between client and insurance company. Ensure all business is conducted in a manner compatible with the bank’s mission statement.
  • Assist insurance agents in reviewing and repricing existing policies to ensure competitiveness and maximize client satisfaction.
  • Manage policy updates, renewals, and amendments accurately and efficiently in our database systems.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products or services to existing clients based on their needs and preferences.
  • Provide prompt and courteous assistance to clients via phone, email, or in-person regarding inquiries, policy changes, claims processing, and other service-related matters.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and policy information in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Assist insurance agents with various administrative tasks such as preparing documents, processing paperwork, and organizing client files.
  • Ensure all customer interactions and transactions adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
