Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE IN SHAPING THE FUTURE

We are expanding our actuarial and risk management presence in Ireland, where you will work closely with our dedicated team of experienced actuaries in Dublin. This team is highly integrated with a larger network of professionals across our six other offices in Europe. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with our innovative banking team, fostering cross-disciplinary excellence. As an Insurance Consultant or Senior Consultant, you will work on cutting-edge projects in insurance risk management, valuation, and regulatory compliance. Your work will directly influence the industry by helping clients navigate complex challenges and seize opportunities for innovation and growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Insurance Expertise

  • Partner with clients to address Solvency II/BMA EBS challenges, including technical provisions, SCR calculations, and internal model validations.
  • Lead on a variety of complex projects delivering excellence to clients.
  • Lead risk management initiatives, including the development of ERM frameworks, ORSA processes, recovery and resolution plans, and strategies to mitigate climate risks. Conduct climate risk materiality assessments, develop stress-test scenarios, and integrate results into the ORSA framework.
  • Collaborate on investment portfolio optimisation and asset allocation aligned with risk profiles.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Stay ahead of evolving prudential regulations by analysing and interpreting changes to ensure client compliance. Translate complex regulatory updates into actionable insights and guidance.

Client Engagement

  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, delivering tailored solutions and strategies that align with their ambitions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, bridging technical expertise with business goals.

Team Collaboration

  • Contribute to a culture of knowledge-sharing and innovation within the team.
  • Translate client needs into actionable specifications, ensuring smooth communication between technical experts and business teams.

Thought Leadership & Innovation

  • Enhance Finalyse’s presence through thought leadership initiatives, including publications, conference presentations, and industry networking.
  • Lead the development of innovative tools and prototypes with Python, R, or other open-source technologies, driving impactful solutions for clients.
  • Participate in internal working groups, contributing to marketing, knowledge-sharing, and professional development.
