Responsibilities:

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Our media and creative integrated agency is looking for a client service lead to partner across all channels and departments, driving excellence and creating valuable ways of working for one of our major clients.
This individual will be responsible for guiding the account and creative teams in optimising the output, quality, and value of their work, whilst supporting and encouraging colleagues to identify and grow new business opportunities within the specific account. They will be the key point of contact for the client and accountable for the planning, execution, and measurement of a portfolio of projects and programmes across media (ATL and digital) as well as creative. While this pivotal position encompasses three key areas – operations, strategic thinking, and brand building – a deep understanding of TV media planning, tools, and implementation is a mandate.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client services
Work collaboratively and develop strong partnerships with clients, agency resources, and account team.
Maintain big-picture view and think creatively to solve problems, especially when dealing with complex marketing challenges.
Deliver strong ideas, brilliant creative, and flawless execution through the management of interdisciplinary teams.
Proactively advise clients on new issues and the external environment.
Take responsibility for developing, budgeting, managing, and finalising client activity programmes, ensuring these are delivered efficiently and to client objectives.
Instigate and facilitate brainstorms/workshops to develop the strategic, tactical, and creative direction of the account.
Take appropriate risks with a relentless focus on results.
Contribute to the media experience (omnichannel), conception, and consistency in liaising with all resources involved in client satisfaction (strategy, media, creative) to build an integrated agency offering to the client.
Coordinate and manage the integrated teams working end-to-end for the client.
Supervise all client integrated reports and ensure consistency and alignment with initial objectives.
Financial management
In conjunction with senior team members, ensure input into revenue forecasts with submissions based on sound financial tracking and experience.
Oversee and manage account/project resources (based on fee projections), profitability, forecasting, and revenue to maximise growth opportunities.
Take responsibility for establishing and confirming financial arrangements with the client.
Commercial awareness and business development
Be responsible and accountable for securing and retaining business by providing professional, consultative, proactive, and strategic support and ideas.
Be aware of wider industry, client competitor strategies, and market environment, and use this knowledge to direct the account teams’ work, in consultation with clients.
Team management
Create an environment and atmosphere that encourages the pursuit of big ideas.
Take a leadership role in actively nurturing and contributing to the development of big ideas.
Guide the development of sell-in strategy in partnership with strategy, media, and creative teams, pre-condition the client, and protect the big idea once sold.
Manage teams to optimise workflow and workload.
Must be able to pull together the right people to solve the client’s marketing problems.
Previous experience and industry background
Ten years of experience in account management/client services
Media agency experience
Media planning and implementation in ATL with a focus on TV
