WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

GHD’s Water Group is seeking an Integrated Water Management Engineer and Project Manager – Western Canada Region based in our Calgary, AB office.
GHD is looking for energetic, creative, motivated engineers, scientist and technologists to work on existing challenging projects and to join our dynamic successful water group. Our diversified projects vary from urban drainage planning and design, flood plain mapping, dam breach assessments, climate change adaptation studies, master municipal planning, design of pump stations, and linear infrastructure (open cut and trenchless). Our growing client list includes some of the largest utilities in our region, as well as many smaller agencies and private sector clients. Utilizing a “One GHD” approach to collaboration, we leverage industry-leading talent from across the globe to provide our clients with unmatched expertise and service.
The ideal candidate should have confirmed technical experience in the assessment and design of urban drainage systems, modelling and design, evaluation of medium to large-scale watersheds comprised of both hard and soft landscapes, evaluation of gravity and pressure pipe networks, and a familiarity with related disciplines such as aquatic ecology, toxicology, hydrogeology, land development, and urban planning. As a key member of a small team with a company that is relatively new to this set of market services in Western Canada, the candidate must be highly adaptable, utilizing your business development skills and interacting expertly with public and private sector clients with minimum supervision. The ideal candidate will also be asked to apply their expertise in other Regions and may be asked to travel to participate in client meetings, project team meetings and site visits.
