Integration and Validation Engineer

Summary :
We are seeking an Integration and Validation Engineer to join our TEST & QA Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating, verifying, validating, and qualifying security system solutions to meet customer requirements. This role involves hardware and software integration, coordination of TEST & QA activities, and providing associated documentation.

Requirements :

• Integrate security system solutions, including server, storage, network switch, router, firewall, and other hardware.
• Configure hardware, operating systems, and network components.
• Perform hardware and OS hardening and virtualization platform integration.
• Coordinate TEST & QA activities, establish priorities, and conduct tests in the factory and on-site.
• Support acceptance and commissioning, analyze results, and transmit findings to development teams.
• Ensure all requirements are properly testable and maintain full Verification and Validation Traceability.
• Record test configuration resources, follow verification procedures, and compile results documents.
• Communicate variances and anomalies to stakeholders and maintain shared test environment elements.

Qualifications :

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or related discipline (essential).
• Higher degree qualifications and membership of appropriate professional institutions are desirable.

Essential Experience :

• At least 5 years of hardware and software integration experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in virtualization platforms such as VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, Redhat KVM.
• Good knowledge of operating systems like Linux and Windows Server.
• Basic knowledge of networking (VLAN configuration, routing configuration, troubleshooting).
• Basic knowledge of WebService specifications, design patterns, and cybersecurity.
• Basic scripting skills (shell script, PowerShell, Python).
• Experience with government projects.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.

Desirable Experience :

• Experience with Systems Engineering lifecycle.
• Cloud technology and virtualization-related certification.
• Network-related certification.

Other Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant area of Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience deploying large-scale solutions in an engineering role.
• Significant technical and engineering work experience on security systems projects.
• Membership in relevant professional organizations, such as INCOSE or Institution of Engineers Singapore.
