OUR ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related area.
- Technical certifications in Azure integration space desirable or equivalent work experience.
- Have hands-on experience designing and managing a complex architecture of integrations at a medium or larger sized organisation.
- Exceptional ability to understand highly complex technical processes and then communicate them clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Extensive experience working with a high volume of APIs, focusing on secure, scalable, and efficient integrations.

Responsibilities:
A QUICK LOOK AT THE ROLE
The primary purpose of the role is to define, own and deliver the Integration Architecture aligned with the technology strategy for Biffa. With over 200 systems and a mix of legacy applications & new SaaS platforms, integrations are critical to the technology architecture - the job holder will be responsible for defining the integrations standards and overseeing the build of new integrations plus migration of existing integrations to the latest technology. This position requires a deep understanding of integration management principles, Azure technologies and a strategic mindset to align integration initiatives with overall business goals.

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement a comprehensive integration architecture strategy that would support overall business strategy, including standard technology recommendations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including integration patterns, data flow diagrams, and system configurations.
- Own the design, implementation and management of Biffa’s integration architecture, including API management and transformation covering modern technologies and legacy file based integration solutions.
- Collaborate with solution architects to integrate integration architecture with overall system architecture.
- Work closely in partnership with partner organisations to support the delivery of the programs that align to our integration strategy.
- Diagnose and resolve complex integration issues, optimizing performance and ensuring seamless operations across all integrated systems.
- Define an integration monitoring approach that provides visibility of failures and reasons, with clear accountability for who should resolve the failures.
