TECHNICAL SKILLS (MUST-HAVE):

• Frontend Integration:
• Proficiency in consuming and integrating APIs with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, and RESTful API concepts.
• Backend Integration:
• Expertise in Java SE and EE for API development and integration.
• Experience with Spring Framework, JAX-RS, or Quarkus for backend development.
• Familiarity with OpenAPI standards for API design and documentation.
• Hands-on experience with integrating SSO and OAuth authentication mechanisms.
• System Integration Tools & Techniques:
• Knowledge of containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines for managing integration workflows.

PREFERRED SKILLS (NICE-TO-HAVE):

• Familiarity with Gradle for build automation.
• Experience with API gateways such as Kong, Apigee, or AWS API Gateway.
• Knowledge of Resteasy for lightweight RESTful web services.

GENERAL SKILLS:

• Strong understanding of integration patterns and best practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with front-end, back-end, and DevOps teams.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in frontend/backend integration development, preferably for a Financial Services Institution. Any experience in Superannuation Industry will be a big plus.
