Description:

This is your opportunity to become part of an innovative program responsible for revolutionising the technological experience for our Radiologists and clinical teams to deliver the best possible outcomes for our patients and referrers. This is a 12-month fixed term contract with flexibility on location of the role.
In this role, you will be supporting with the design and development of applications used in our clinics. Working in a small team, you will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrate the ability to articulate technical details to a diverse audience.

What you’ll do

  • Provide best practice service delivery in relation to system development and application services Work with your regional team and global team to ensure alignment, high performance, and delivery
  • Collaborate with Integrations Architects and with the Product Development team, to deliver solutions aligned to the organisation’s strategic goals
  • Work collaboratively with the rest of the IT structure to ensure simplification of systems
  • Be a point of escalation within the team, to ensure incidents are resolved efficiently and effectively
  • Develop training processes and materials to support handover from implementation to production BAU
  • Promote and mature our development lifecycle, including architectural and process standards, source control, automated testing, and deployment pipelines

What you’ve done

Essential Experience and Skills

  • Proficiency in HL7 and DICOM standards and protocols
  • Understanding of Nextgen Mirth Connect is ideal
  • Solid understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns, and/or API management and strategies
  • A strong working knowledge of JavaScript and/or Java
  • Demonstrated excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Be part of a rotating 24/7 on call roster in case of critical incidents

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with other object-oriented programming languages
  • Experience in troubleshooting complex HL7 and DICOM workflows
  • Experience working on Linux platforms
  • Have an understanding of software development methodologies, and design patterns
  • Have experience in integrating with monitoring and ticketing systems
