Description:
EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE
- Two years of post-secondary education or training in child & youth care or a related field
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Demonstrated experience working with children and youth with developmental disabilities, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Ability to teach functional life skills in a community setting
- Demonstrated ability to work with children and youth with developmental disabilities, and their families
- Ability to maintain a client’s safety in the community
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Successful completion of criminal record check
- Emergency First Aid is mandatory
- Driver’s License is not required
- Proof of Covid-19 vaccination status will be required
