Business Area Wind is responsible for Vattenfall’s Onshore and Offshore Wind as well as other non-hydro Renewable activities like solar PV and batteries. Today we develop, construct and operate wind generation in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. In addition, we have a clear strategy to develop our solar PV and battery operations further.
Job Description
We are looking for an Integrity Compliance Engineer – Integrated Operations to work within our Business Area Wind, Offshore, Generation.
Generation is the organization that is fully accountable for the asset performance of Vattenfall’s offshore wind farms. This includes operating the wind farms through optimization of revenues in relation to the power market and maintaining the wind farms in a healthy, safe, sustainable and cost efficient way to ensure best availability and full compliance with requirement.
Working within the Technical Integrity Management Department in Integrated Operations, the Integrity Compliance Engineer will work with a variety of stakeholders especially in Offshore Engineering, Asset Management, and Operations Delivery to ensure focus on optimizing the operational life and yield of the windfarms and our portfolio of operating assets.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As part of Integrated Operations and fully deployed to support our Technical Integrity Management Team:

  • Support development/implementation and maintaining of technical compliance registers, in co-operation with different disciplines such as Generation and Projects delivery & Engineering, with full transparency towards the maintenance strategy ensuring we are managing our assets in compliance.
  • Support the development of an IT solution of maintaining technical compliance and implementation into the process for change to maintenance strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate updates in the technical compliance registers, while notifying relevant stakeholders, accordingly to the governance of the technical compliance accountability.
  • Support maintenance strategy towards technical compliance input.
  • Support preparing and updating key technology and process documents within Technical Integrity Management
  • Support with technical compliance input towards the Asset Integrity reports.
  • Being part of continuous development of Technical Integrity Management framework, delivering and systematic approach to Technical Integrity Management
  • Support the Technical Integrity Team with compliance input.
  • articipate actively in the structuring and creation of our Technical Integrity Management Team

Qualifications

THE ROLE REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING PROFILE:

  • You have a Risk Management background and preferably an engineering university degree, with a minimum of 5 years relevant work within Risk Management and/or Compliance work experience with larger asset operators.
  • Experience working with compliance in the renewable industry and/or offshore industry in UK, Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands and Germany is considered a plus.
  • You are able to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders and external auditors.
  • Understanding of how compliance contributes to a high performing asset.
  • Experience in Asset Management Risk and Integrity Management
  • You command English in both verbal and written form.
  • You possess a can-do mindset, see opportunities with a “glass half full” approach to your work.
  • You are a highly motivated and communicative with enthusiasm and see team work as the right way to achieve the goals.
