SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Resettlement Program Director, The MG Case Manager will implement an intensive case management service in a deliberate, effective, and timely manner to eligible clients while maintaining compliance with established federal standards and requirements.
We aim to remove barriers with compassion, empathy and empowerment while upholding human dignity and respect.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A degree in a social service-related field; or the equivalent of two years’ experience working in a social service environment that demonstrates a sensitivity and appreciation for diverse cultural populations.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Knowledge of State and Federal Contracts and Grants.
- Knowledge of Program Manuals and Operational Guidelines.
- Knowledge of client files documentation and record keeping.
- Skilled in using personal computer, various software, email and internet.
- Skilled in organization and time management.
- Ability to work in a culturally sensitive way with people of various backgrounds.
- Ability to maintain appropriate ethical boundaries and professional client relationship.
- Ability to drive and maintain appropriate personal transportation must have valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
- Bilingual needed, but not a must.
- Must have a valid Driving license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities:
- Provide the client with an appropriate cultural reception into the community through providing access to information using appropriate interpretation and translation services as needed.
- Coordinate with Reception and Placement Case Manager for client enrollment in a timely manner.
- Conduct an assessment and Intake for new enrollees in the program using an appropriate interpretation.
- Provide a job readiness and job placement services.
- Develop a tracking system for the employment successful rate.
- Provide an extensive Case Management service that appropriate to the needs to the MG clients that contributed to early 180-240 days service Period.
- Document all visits and case activities and efforts to meet with clients as outlined by the resettlement team and Resettlement Director.
- Collaborate with the Program Director to identify training needs and schedule appropriate training sessions for new MG and APA Caseworker.
- Participates in performance-related goal setting, program outputs or measures to achieve program objectives therefore ensuring cultural and social integration and self- sufficiency in receiving communities.
- Ensure the compliance of the program’s employees to cooperate with standards and procedures during training sessions.
