We are looking for permanent full time Support Workers to work alongside, coach and mentor Rangatahi in our Intensive Support Services in Christchurch.
What does a Support Worker do? | He aha te mahi a te Kaimahi Tautoko
Our Support Workers assist Rangitahi and Tamariki who access our services to live as independently as possible, in their community. You will:
- Work as a team to ensure consistency in your approach.
- Support tamariki or rangitahi to go to school or access education.
- Observe and respond to health concerns or support the overall health and wellbeing of the young person
- Support rangitahi/young people to work towards and attain their goals and improve outcomes.

Who are we looking for? | Ko wai ta tatou e rapu ana
- A desire to support our rangitahi / young people to learn new skills and achieve outcomes.
- Previous experience working with young people/rangitahi.
- An understanding of Intellectual disability and Autism.
- Creativity ’out of the box’ thinking and a team player.
- A full NZ driver’s license.
