QUALIFICATIONS

In addition to the Basic Education Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Leading the development of enterprise network designs, architectures, installations, implementing Software Defined Network (SDN) and Virtualization technology; 2) Analyzing Stakeholder Concerns, and transforming them into enterprise network requirements, designs, and performance specifications; 3) Leading network design discussions, technical reviews, and providing guidance on best practices and industry standards; 4) Executing project management principles and practices to satisfy sponsor’s cost, schedule and technical requirements; and 5) Developing and reviewing network design and test documentation and leading network test events.

• You will be responsible leading network design discussions, technical reviews, and provide guidance on best practices and industry standards.
• You will be responsible in designing, configuring, implementing, and optimizing network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and other systems to ensure maximum performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• You will be responsible in developing enterprise network requirements, designs, and performance specification related artifacts to support acquisition planning and key acquisition documents.
• You will be responsible in evaluating new and emerging networking technologies and products to provide enhancement or upgrade recommendations.
• You will be responsible in developing and reviewing training and support documentation on network designs.
