INTERIM CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

A Nottingham based charity is seeking an inspiring Chief Executive Officer to lead its mission and drive impactful change.
Position: Interim CEO
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £51-55k per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract Type: 9–12-month Contract

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of policy and legislation affecting vulnerable communities.
  • Experience in marketing, PR, or public representation.

A respected charity, renowned for its work supporting individuals at risk of exploitation, is seeking an inspiring Interim Chief Executive Officer to drive its mission forward. This small yet ambitious organisation has been at the forefront of delivering vital services and advocating for vulnerable communities for over 30 years.
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and dynamic leader to take responsibility for the organisation’s vision, funding strategy, and operations, ensuring it continues to deliver meaningful impact and adapt to the needs of those it supports.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a long-term vision to sustain and grow the organisation’s reach and impact.
  • Team Management: Lead, inspire, and manage a dedicated team, fostering a culture of collaboration and empowerment.
  • Fundraising Expertise: Devise and deliver fundraising strategies to secure sustainable income, including trust funding, corporate partnerships, and individual giving.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgets, provide financial reports to the Board, and ensure resources are used effectively.
  • Advocacy and Representation: Act as the primary spokesperson, enhancing the organisation’s profile and building strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Governance: Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while implementing policies that promote best practices.
