Overview:
This 12-month FTC Credit Control position is to deliver a high-quality credit control service to our business to business customers. As a key member of the team, you will be have a strong customer service approach. In addition you will managing the reconciliation and settlement of insurer payments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our success and make a meaningful impact.
How you’ll make an impact:
- Chase outstanding payments from clients
- Produce and issues regular Statement of Accounts for clients.
- Record and maintain accurate client and business records
- Escalate any issues with Team Leader
- Review processes and making suggestions to enhance collections and operating methods.
- Assist with cash postings and resolve unallocated cash
- Provide feedback on issues which have resulted in mis-postings
- Assist the leadership and branch network with any queries they have with the collection process
- Regularly meet with the department and business to report on age debt, highlight any risk and resolve any issues
- Process payment requests
About you:
- Prior credit control experience, ideally within business to business
- Strong Excel skills to process large volumes of data and complete large, complex reconciliations
- Professional in manner and presentation;
- Sound customer service skills;
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally;
- IT-literate and quick learner;
- Analytical problem solving approach;
- Takes initiative, has a ‘can do’ attitude; and
- Results driven, ability to work to targets
- Eligibility to work in the UK
