Description:

Company Description
As one of the world’s leading consultancy, construction engineering and operating firms, we hold ourselves responsible for today’s biggest challenges; fighting climate change, the digital transition and meeting the needs of growing populations. We do this by designing smart, green infrastructure, transport and buildings, creating a sustainable future for communities everywhere.
In the UK we’re proud to be delivering some of the most iconic projects which help connect people, protect our environment and meet emission reduction targets. From motorways to tramways, nuclear power plants to smart cities, clients choose us to help them solve their most complex challenges - delivering climate-responsible growth that meets the needs of communities, industry, and the planet.
The Egis Group has recently implemented a matrix model, introducing dual governance through the regions in addition to the Business Lines. Consequently, we have moved to consolidate corporate services in the UK to serve all Business Lines, delivering both dedicated business partnering and shared services.

The role of Finance Business Partner: Nuclear will directly lead the finance business partnering for the Nuclear Service Line in the UK. The Nuclear Service Line is formed of two key areas of activity currently in the UK, but is a fast growing and dynamic SL:

  • Consultancy Services, Nuclear Decommissioning and Radioactive Waste Management services.
  • Engineering and Construction Management (and related) services for new nuclear power stations in the UK.

This role forms part of the finance team in the UK, reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering: Energy and Sustainable Cities (UK) and the business leads for these services.
This role will have the management of 1 FTE accounting support, and work in collaboration with the UK Finance Shared Services for transactional activities.
Job Description
This role provides key support to the Head of Finance Business Partnering Energy & Sustainable Cities (FBP – E&SC), from day-to-day operations to financial transformation. The role will involve exposure to the wider Egis Group and cross - functional teams and requires the personal credibility to develop successful professional relationships with internal peers and external stakeholders.
The right candidate will be a self-starter, and willing to be agile and adaptable as the business needs change.
