JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Controller & Reporting Manager to join Elgin’s Finance team on a 15 month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Finance (HoF). They will support the HoF in the execution of company strategy and finance and accounting responsibilities across the business, providing timely insights to guide decision making at operational and strategic levels.
The role will suit a commercially oriented individual, with proven reporting capabilities, drive, ambition, and exceptional financial acumen.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Lead, motivate and manage the financial reporting function through proactive goal setting, example setting and coaching. Responsibilities include external statutory reporting, management reporting to Board, treasury operations, compliance coordination and financial control for the Group.
  • Partner with the HoF and other senior business leaders to drive the development of the business, enhancing processes and performance of the finance function. Deputising as required.
  • Curator of the finance report for meetings and committees.
  • Overseeing operations in the finance team including management of the external audit process for the Group across a variety of jurisdictions.
  • Assisting with company secretarial matters.
  • Review and production of key deliverables as part of due diligence processes.
  • Supporting ad hoc reports and process improvement projects as required.
