Job Summary
Revelstoke Mountain Resort is seeking a talented and innovative individual with a strong focus on design and marketing to join our team. As a Marketing Advisor, you will play a crucial role in telling the brand story. You will be responsible for creating visually compelling marketing materials, developing and executing marketing campaigns, and enhancing the resort’s brand presence. This role involves a blend of creative design work and strategic campaign management to attract visitors and elevate the guest experience. We are looking for a professional with relevant experience, exceptional design skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Essential Job Functions

  • Coordinate design and print production of collateral materials.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to clearly define their marketing needs and facilitate the development of marketing assets and content.
  • Assist with the resort’s four-wall marketing plan to ensure signage is current and effective.
  • Coordinate content and updates for media kits, sales presentations, RevelstokeMountainResort.com, and third-party digital assets.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to drive visitation and revenue across all lines of business at Revelstoke Mountain Resort.
  • Curate, edit, and proofread marketing materials to maintain communication standards and brand voice in print and online.
  • Assist with various marketing projects for Food and Beverage, the Resort’s Retail Outlets, Rentals, Repairs, Mountain Sports School, and Events, including collateral production, content development, and web updates.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure cohesive branding and messaging.
  • Support the development and execution of email marketing campaigns as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Degree in marketing and design, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a marketing role, preferably in sport tourism industry.
  • A passion for outdoor and mountain-related activities.

Skills Required

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
  • Proficient in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and content management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Organizational and project management abilities.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong editing skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Photography and/or videography skills are considered an asset.
  • Strong skier or snowboarder.
  • Ability to conduct presentations and meetings.
  • Clean B.C. driver’s license.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
  • Flexible schedule as some weekends, evenings, and early mornings may be required.
