The Opportunity:
As the Interim Lead for the People Services Team and the People Services transformation, you will drive operational excellence and process optimization to ensure a seamless employee experience. This role will drive efficient, scaled People operations, reduced complexity and provide the People team the tools, and infrastructure to support our colleagues.
As the main architect for the People Team’s platforms and systems you will drive operational excellence and systems process optimization to ensure a seamless employee experience. The main objective for this role is to drive an efficient, scaled HR digital landscape, reduced complexity and provision of future proofed systems and infrastructure to support our employees. This includes managing our HRIS and data systems related to employee lifecycle (onboarding-offboarding).

Key Accountabilities:

  • Align the people services transformation strategy to the NCC group people strategy.
  • Lead the program and project team to successfully deliver project outcomes.
  • Manage stakeholders within People leadership and GTS leadership/delivery.
  • Utilise process management, lean thinking, global operating model best practices to deliver a fit for purpose efficient people services team.
  • Complete all project delivery reporting e.g. steer co, TMO, global People calls to ensure progress is tracked.
  • Lead the change management planning, CIA, change actions and delivery needed for the adoption to be successful.
  • Develop robust governance around service delivery, and digitisation prioritisation working with relevant stakeholders (e.g. GTS).

Global Process and Best Practices Development:

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for implementing and administering People processes and transactions globally.
  • Establish and manage a global framework and best practices for People operations, practices, and service delivery across all aspects of the employee lifecycle to ensure a consistent employee experience across a globally distributed employee population.
  • Partner with local People teams to deploy these global processes, practices and programs locally.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and HR teams to gather inputs to develop global policies.

HR Systems & Technology:

  • Oversee, evolve and manage the full HR tech stack, in collaboration with GTS, to drive automation, streamline HR processes, and ensure data integrity. Play a key role in reducing manual and one-off processes and look to develop automated solutions within the HR technology suite.
  • Deep expertise creating system solutions areas.
  • Partner with cross functional teams and end-users to translate business needs into requirements and recommend appropriate system configurations, integrations, and workflows.
  • Partner with IT to develop system integrations, execute testing and provide end-user training.
  • Collaborate with local People partners to manage employee self-service communication channels to ensure all relevant information regarding policies, benefits, is up-to-date and easily accessible on intranet.

Operations & Compliance:

  • Collaborate with local People teams to gather local compliance requirements and provide framework for tracking to ensure compliance with international, federal, state, and local legal requirements.
  • Manage People operations calendar globally to determine People team resourcing for projects and initiatives that require support for employees and leaders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Significant experience in leading a People Services team and transformation.
  • Ability to handle cross-functional projects and initiatives across multiple time zones.
  • Knowledge or experience with troubleshooting data integrations.
  • Ability to relate to, influence and collaborate with employees at all levels in the organization.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to influence and inspire.
  • Experience leading and developing a diverse and geographically dispersed team.
  • Deep experience within HRIS, ideally, (but not exclusively or required) with Workday, but other HRIS systems are qualifying as well.
  • Significant experience managing a full end to end People digital transformation.
  • Experience with time and attendance software would be a plus.
