Interior Designer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer to join our team. As a mid-senior level designer, you will be responsible for leading design projects from concept to completion. You will work closely with clients, architects, and contractors to create functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces. The ideal candidate has strong creativity, technical knowledge, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage design teams and client relationships effectively.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in interior design, with a focus on commercial or residential projects.
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of space planning, color theory, materials, and finishes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Leadership experience or the ability to mentor and guide junior designers.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS (OPTIONAL):

• Knowledge of 3D visualization and rendering tools (e.g., 3ds Max, V-Ray).
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
• Experience in sustainability or green building practices.

• Develop creative design concepts and present them to clients for approval.
• Work with clients to determine their needs, preferences, and budget for the project.
• Prepare detailed floor plans, layouts, and elevations using design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, etc.).
• Select materials, finishes, furniture, and fixtures that align with design concepts and project specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design execution is on schedule and within budget.
• Provide direction and mentorship to junior designers, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to project deadlines.
• Oversee the implementation of designs, making site visits to ensure projects are progressing as planned.
• Prepare cost estimates and manage project budgets, ensuring designs are implemented within financial constraints.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay current with industry trends, new materials, and innovative design techniques.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
