About Our Client: Our client is a sub-contractor for industrial, commercial and institutional drywall, ceiling and acoustic systems.
Position Scope: The Demountable Partitions & Interior Glazing Division Manager will be responsible for starting up the company’s new glazing division. They will need to build and grow the glazing side of the business from the ground up. This person will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the glazing division, including estimating, project management, business development, team leadership, and client relations. This role requires a deep understanding of glazing systems, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive division growth and profitability.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Strong knowledge of glazing systems, materials, and installation methods.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Proficient in project management software and MS Office suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detailed individual who demonstrates a high degree of accuracy.
• Basic math skills.
• Strong time management and prioritizing skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle a variety of tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to offer solutions and suggestions.
• Customer service focused individual.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the glazing industry, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with growing a profitable division from scratch is a huge asset.
• Proven track record of successfully managing glazing projects from start to finish.
• Experience working with demountable products is a strong asset.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
