Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, O

• Prepare a comprehensive set of working drawings, contract documents, and specifications adhering to industry and company standards.
• Coordinate construction drawings with consultants, including civil, architects, engineers (mechanical, electrical, structural, etc.), and other specialists such as audiovisual, security, signage/wayfinding, and specialty lighting.
• Develop site plans and building drawings, and liaise with municipal planning/building departments for application processes and addressing comments.
• Create Performance Specification documents using SDI and industry-standard formats.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and on track. Involve in Contract Administration, including review of shop drawings, tracking proposed changes, processing change orders, and managing other contract administration tasks.
• Research construction techniques and select appropriate products for construction and finishing details, including coordinating with external representatives to gather information and devise solutions.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement and updating of standard details based on construction best practices, lessons learned, and updates to building codes.
• Prepare presentation drawings using various rendering techniques (hand drawing, Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, etc.) as needed.
• Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with design intent.
• Utilize effective communication tools (verbal, hand and computer drawings, etc.) to collaborate with the design studio team, resolve technical issues, maintain quality control, and achieve client objectives.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines effectively.
