Description:
About your next Challenge as a Intermediate Circuit Design Developer, and Systems Engineering:
The selected candidate is expected to lead the development of circuit cards used in control systems in the field of marine systems and nuclear power plants. The candidate will also lead the system design, testing, and acceptance of various systems in nuclear power plants.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
- Electrical Engineer with Circuit Design Knowledge, or Technician with Circuit Design Training 2-3 years experience
- Knowledge of Orcad or of a similar tool
- Knowledge of Vivado (HDL programming or of a similar tool)
- Knowledge of ModelSim or of a similar tool
- VME technology, nuclear power plant standards for design, and nuclear power plant control system designs
- Demonstrate interpersonal and team work skills;
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrate analytical thinking and problem solving skills;;
- Bilingual (French and English);
- Proficient English writting skills;
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
- Knowledge of IPC standards
- Knowledge of N299 Nuclear Power Plant standards
- Knowledge of IEC15288 lifecycle development process
Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO SECRET security clearance.
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Responsibilities:
- Design circuit cards, or re-design existing circuit cards
- Design and implement FPGA HDL
- Lead the design of systems for nuclear power plants and produce/review documentation such as system design documents, block-diagrams, wiring diagrams, MTBF and FMEA studies
