Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for an Intermediate D&O Underwriter, Specialty Lines, to join our growing team!
As an Intermediate D&O Underwriter, your work will have a big impact on the Management Liability team in the Specialty Lines department. People will count on you to think outside the box and provide creative solutions. You will build a profitable portfolio of Management Liability accounts with an emphasis on quoting new business by utilizing your experience.

WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE:

  • Analyze requests for quotes, renewals and policy changes, and recommend innovative solutions
  • Support brokers regarding underwriting and rating policies
  • Develop long-term and meaningful relationships with our broker partners by providing legendary service
  • Participate in broker visits, insurance industry functions and marketing events in support of broker relationship development
  • Use negotiating skills to maintain healthy relationships within and outside the company
  • Provide technical advice, recommendations, and mentoring to team members
  • Provide creative solutions on how to improve the department and increase efficiencies
