The Intermediate Electrical Engineer (Motor Control PCB) will work report to the Research and Development Manager to design and test PCBs for linear actuator motor control.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in motor control PCB design.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Knowledge and experience of motor controls and noise cancellation.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in PCB design.
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or a similar field of study.
  • North American manufacturing standards and certifications.
  • Strong time management, communication, and leadership skills to work with independently, with our growing team and overseas.

Responsibilities:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Firmware Engineer and Mechanical Engineer to design, prototype and test complete control systems.
  • Integrate the following into control system design.
  • RF control
  • Wi-Fi
  • Thread Matter
  • Bluetooth
  • Controller Area Network / CANBUS / MODBUS compatibility
  • Design cost effective control systems for mass production. Select components based on availability and cost-effectiveness for local and overseas manufacturing.
  • Create systems and procedures for the purpose of ensuring the highest quality, knowledge retention and expansion of the team.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reverse engineer and improve on legacy motor control PCBs.
  • Build test equipment and conduct in-house product stress testing.
  • Outline and supervise QC testing.
  • Produce technical datasheet, instruction manuals, and internal product education package.
  • Lead internal product education campaign.
  • Work with the Marketing team to research new products and launch products produced.
