WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Milk Moovement seeks to have a diverse, inclusive, team-oriented, and curiosity-driven herd. Our technical team lives to find unique solutions to the challenges inherent to digital supply chains, and we expect you will be excited to do so as well.
You must have 3+ years prior development experience with React Native and Javascript / Typescript. We’re looking for someone that has had the opportunity to take ownership on a React Native mobile app or has worked on large features. Experience with common state management frameworks such as Redux/MobX is also a must. You will no doubt be familiar with the challenges inherent to building an app for both iOS and Android including navigating the submission process for both. We expect you will also be comfortable writing unit and e2e tests for any new features you build. Don’t worry - experience working in the dairy industry is not required! We will teach you all there is to know about the industry beginning with our Dairy 101 course. It is definitely more complicated than you think and that is why we do what we do! Previous experience working with location services and minimizing battery usage is a major plus, but it is not required.

Milk Moovement is seeking a Mobile Developer to join our team in enhancing and maintaining scalable enterprise SaaS applications that continue to revolutionize the dairy supply chain.
As part of tracking milk from cow to carton, the Milk Moovement mobile platform is the entry point for the majority of the data the supply chain leverages daily. It is a critical component of the system because the app serves as the initial stage of our data pipeline and replaces pen and paper processes. A great user experience is key to getting the most accurate data into the Milk Moovement platform.

We’re hiring a Mobile Developer to join our existing team and primarily focus on making our driver mobile app as user-friendly and seamless as possible. Here are some examples of things you might do:

• Build intuitive new workflows for drivers and receivers to collect data about milk loads moving through the supply chain
• Introduce improvements such as location-based validation with an eye toward reducing errors and raising overall data integrity
• Work directly with the product team and our end users to understand pain points, devise improvements, and verify that changes had the desired effect
