JOB DESCRIPTION

LEX3 Engineering is actively seeking Intermediate – Senior Bridge Construction Inspector to join our growing team of engineering and technical specialists, translating conceptual ideas to real world engineering projects.
In this role, you can expect to be involved in some or all of the following tasks:
· Inspection of bridge construction and fabrication activities to ensure conformance to design and specifications
· Progress reporting
· Journaling and record of work
· Quantity calculations and progress estimates
· Monitoring safety and environmental compliance
· Identifying construction issues
· Addressing and ensuring conformance to design
· Fabrication inspection
· Specification writing
· Drafting
Our successful candidate will have:
· Graduated from an accredited Civil Engineering Technology program or hold a degree in Civil Engineering
· 5 or more years of direct and relevant experience in bridge or building structures project work will be considered an asset.
Time commitment: full time, permanent position (40 hours per week).
Location: Home base in Red Deer, AB. Our flexible work environment allows employees to work from home up to two days per week.
