Description:

The Testing Advisor (software testing) is responsible for participating in the payroll and human resources application evolution and maintenance project.

  • He/she carries out manual testing of modified or added functionalities.
  • He/she participates in the automated testing of modified or added functionalities
  • Produces test scenarios
  • Ensures compliance with initial requirements
  • He/she documents anomalies detected during functional, integrated and acceptance testing.
  • Participates in defining and implementing improvements within his/her team

Responsibilities:

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively participate in manual and automated testing as part of an agile team
  • Contribute to the development of test plans and test strategies
  • Produce test scenarios, document test execution and, if necessary, any anomalies found
  • Follow up on the correction of anomalies found
  • Execute functional, integrated and acceptance tests
  • Participate in the team’s continuous improvement activities

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in payroll, human resources and time management solutions, or in quality assurance testing
  • Minimum college diploma in a related field (administration, IT, software quality, etc.)
  • Experience in Web, Mobile or AS400 application testing (an asset)
  • Experience in agile development cycle (an asset)
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence and XRay (an asset)
  • Good learning skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Demonstrate rigor in follow-ups
  • Autonomy in managing time and priorities
  • Flexibility in terms of working hours
  • Ability to manage several files in parallel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word and Excel)
  • Fluency in spoken and written French
