Join our dynamic Fredericton Structural group as a full-time Intermediate Structural Technologist. YOUR CAPABILITIES AND CREDENTIALS

  • At least five (5) years of experience in the industrial consulting industry or an industrial environment.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, efficient, and a good communicator.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks.
  • Strong collaborative skills for working with single or multi-discipline teams.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to follow Stantec’s quality control guidelines.
  • Understanding of the importance of complying with Stantec’s Employee Health and Safety (EH&S) program, with a focus on safety in the field.
  • Desire to be mentored by senior staff and adapt to feedback as required for career growth and development.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with Project Engineers and Project Managers to assist in planning, design, drafting and preparation of construction plans, bid documents, technical specifications, and construction cost estimates in connection with a variety of structural engineering projects.
  • May perform field surveys for drawing development, site reviews, and as-built drawings.
  • Communicate with other team members and become familiar with Stantec standards.
  • May assist in field condition assessment assignments.
