Description:
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our Commercial Valuation team. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain experience in commercial property valuation and market analysis. As an intern, you will work closely with experienced valuers and analysts, contributing to real estate valuation projects and gaining valuable industry knowledge.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field(or equivalent work experience).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong interest in commercial real estate and valuation.
- Understanding of regional business culture and regulations.
- The ability to understand and make use of computers and information technology (Knight Frank internal systems).
- Software: Microsoft Office programs to an advanced/proficient level.
- Language skills: Fluency in English, written and verbal. Fluency in Arabic or other languages is advantageous.
- Travel: Flexible attitude towards travelling.
- Local driving license required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of property valuation reports, including market analysis, income analysis, and cost approaches.
- Conduct research on commercial real estate markets, property trends, and comparable sales.
- Support the collection and analysis of property data, including financial statements, lease agreements, and property specifications.
- Participate in property inspections and contribute to the assessment of property conditions and value.
- Collaborate with team members to develop valuation models and forecasts.
- Prepare and organize documentation and presentation materials for client meetings.
- Support the team in various administrative tasks and project management activities as needed.
- Other tasks as required.
