Please be advised: Due to our international corporate culture, we publish all our job advertisements in English. Nevertheless a significant part of this job will be in German.

Tasks

• Your job is to care about the localisation of TV documentaries, in particular researching and editing dialogue books translated into German
• You’ll independently look after voice-over recordings for Sky Factual programmes in our in-house sound studios
• You’ll be involved in the production of subtitles for films and series
• General support for the department and administrative tasks won¿t dampen your motivation

Requirements

• You’re a trained translator or have studied translation (ideally with English as your main subject), are studying language or have already graduated
• You’ve already had some contact with translations and editing of longer texts
• Initial experience in an editorial office, at a production company or a TV station is an advantage
• In addition to your strong teamwork and communication skills, you should be able to work independently, make decisions and be assertive
• Very good German and good English skills round off your profile
