PO.P makes clothes designed to be loved, washed and worn. And one day handed down to the next child…and the next. Clothes made to be passed down, three children in each garment, at least - We call this design that lasts. PO.P started in 1976 with the desire to make comfortable, high-quality childrenswear. This means a play-friendly design, with no details that chafe or restrict movement, that can be washed again and again. Simply put – clothes that let children be children!
We are looking for an intern who wants to be involved in the sustainability and quality work at PO.P, which will help us reach our target of becoming a climate neutral business by 2045.
As an intern with us, you will participate in projects within the department, such as development within textile waste handling (re-use, recycle, up-cycle, down-cycle), compliance with relevant EU Directives and Regulations (e.g. Waste Directive, and Extended Producer Responsibility), screening of relevant stakeholders in the field of repair, second-hand and second chance etc. analyse existing recyclability level vs durability level of PO.P products, assist in quality tests in our lab and in handling & analysis of root cause to reclamations from stores, plus support purchasing and retail department in quality-related matters.
