Role
In this internship you will be working closely together with Research Associates on one of the projects running in the Format Discovery team to support the antibody knowledge generation within the Antibody Research & Technologies department at Genmab in Utrecht!
This project aims to investigate how variations in the hinge regions of IgG subclasses influence their ability to activate Fc-mediated immune functions.
Responsibilities

You will learn how to work in a biotech laboratory environment and aid the Format Discovery team by supporting them in the exploration of a specific research question by the design and performance of several assays such as:

  • Cell culture and protein preparation
  • Flow Cytometry based assay to measure antibody binding
  • Flow Cytometry and Microscopy based functional assays to measure CDC or phagocytosis
  • Bioluminescence Resonance Energy Transfer assays to measure co-localization

Requirements

  • HBO or Master Student connected to a Dutch education institution / university
  • Availability for 6 - 9 months
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of: Cell culture, ELISA, Flow Cytometry
