SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

EDUCATION

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, ideally one year ahead of graduation, Any field of study is welcome, though courses or experience in Human Resources, International Relations, or Legal Studies may be particularly beneficial.

Responsibilities:

Join our Global Mobility team as an intern, where you’ll play a supportive role in managing assignments, immigration, and relocations to Americas region. You’ll act as a liaison, assisting in the coordination and delivery of comprehensive mobility services. This internship provides a comprehensive introduction to the field of Global Mobility and Immigration, offering invaluable insights into the complexities of managing international assignments, immigration, and relocations at Moody’s. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, gaining knowledge that will be beneficial for a career in Global Mobility, Legal, Tax, or related fields.

  • Assist the team in administering both domestic and international mobility programs, including the preparation of cost projections and assignment compensation packages.
  • Help develop and refine relocation packages for employees, and draft related documentation, including relocation assistance letters.
  • Support the team to maintain partnerships with immigration firm to facilitate the procurement and maintenance of work visas for new hires and existing employees in Americas.
  • Participate in the coordination of relocation services with external vendors, focusing on household goods, taxation, and destination services.
  • When requested and required, help the team to collaborate with internal teams, such as Payroll and Finance, to ensure accurate payroll reporting, tax equalization processes, and compliance with regulations.
  • Help the team to observe and identify improvement opportunities in Moody’s relocation and immigration policies to ensure compliance with global legal and regulatory standards, as well as positive employee experience.
  • Provide support in advising employees on policy and processes.
  • Support the team in various daily duties and special projects as needed.
