JOB DESCRIPTION Job TitleIntern - Infrastructure ServicesJob DescriptionJob title: Infrastructure Services InternYour role: As an IT Infrastructure Services Intern at Philips, you will play a vital role in supporting our IT Infrastructure Services team.
Your primary responsibilities will include: 1.
Network Management: Assist in configuring, monitoring, and maintaining network systems to ensure seamless operations.2.
System Administration: Provide support in managing servers, databases, and storage on premise and on cloud solutions to maintain data integrity and system performance.3.
Technical Support: Offer technical support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues to ensure minimal downtime.4.
Project Assistance: Collaborate on various IT infrastructure services projects, contributing to planning, execution, and documentation.The greater impact of this role.In this role, you will contribute to the stability and efficiency of our IT infrastructure, which is crucial for the seamless operation of our business.
Your efforts will enable our teams to work efficiently and securely, supporting Philips’ mission to improve the health and well-being of people around the world.You’ll be part of a collaborative IT infrastructure team, reporting to a local leader.
You will also interact with various stakeholders around the world including senior managers, IT support staff, network engineers, database administrators, and end-users across different departments.You’re the right fit if: Previous experience or coursework in IT infrastructure, networking, or system administration is advantageousFluent in English.Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.Basic knowledge of network configurations, server management, and IT security principles.Currently in your last year pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Cisco certification (such as CCNA) is a plusEnthusiasm for learning and adapting to new technologies.A proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative on tasks and projectsAbout PhilipsWe are a health technology company.
