JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 3rd year of engineering school with mechanical, hydrodynamic or data scientist background;
• Programming skills and Python knowledge are a plus (learning along the internship);
• Capability to understand the overall offshore operation combining various engineering discipline;
• Good written and oral communication skills (English);
• Familiar with Python, Matlab and data-science is a plus;

There is no cursus that prepares to jump into offshore installation world. Although you will first start working in group and out of your comfort zone on true study case during which you will explore various tools, meet engineering & operational teams of the department as well as presenting your work on each sprint (every 3d).
Starting from there and using commonly used hydrodynamic tool (i.e. Orcaflex), you will start to elaborate your plan and model prototype to be further developed once approved by involved disciplines managers. Your methodology will be tested against on-going and past projects such to evaluate it in a real world.
