ABOUT US

WHEREFIT is one of Australia’s fastest-growing HR SaaS platforms revolutionising fitness and wellbeing employee benefits. Our mission is to help working Australians get fit, active, and healthy, and we prioritise employee wellbeing above all else.
We’re a home-grown, self-funded Australian startup that is proud to have reached our current level without external investment, and we’re excited to enter the next growth phase on our own terms.
Since launching in 2017, WHEREFIT has quickly grown to become a trusted wellbeing partner at over 300 of Australia’s leading employers, including Woolworths, NAB, Australia Post, Reserve Bank of Australia, Allianz, PwC, nbn, AMEX, EY, Lendlease, and more.
Our platform helps businesses provide their employees with exclusive corporate benefits at over 2,000 leading fitness and wellbeing brands, including HelloFresh, Fitness First, Adidas, Goodlife, New Balance, ICONIC Sport, Studio Pilates, Speedo, Adore Beauty, Under Armour and more.
We believe that a healthy and active lifestyle should be accessible to all, and we are committed to making this a reality for all working Australians.

ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP

A WHEREFIT placement is different to your typical internship. This is an on-site placement where you will work directly with the co-founders of WHEREFIT and the wider team.
We give you significant responsibility from Day 1 so we prefer to call you an Associate rather than an intern.
This internship will see you play a key supporting role in helping our customers achieve their goals. You will work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure client satisfaction, assist in resolving customer inquiries, and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.
This internship offers an exciting opportunity to learn about customer success strategies, problem-solving, and communication while building your skill set in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will be responsible for:

  • assisting in the response to corporate partners inquiries, ensuring a positive and efficient customer experience.
  • helping to guide new corporate partners through onboarding processes, ensuring they understand product features and setup.
  • contributing to internal documentation, creating knowledge base articles, and helping with customer success reports and metrics.
  • collaborating with sales, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless partner experiences and help drive customer satisfaction.

You will be exposed to a dynamic, fast-growing technology startup located in Fishburners, one of Australia’s leading startup coworking spaces in the Sydney Startup Hub. This means you will have direct exposure to 270+ high quality startups of various maturities and industries. You will also have free member access to workshops and numerous learning, networking and startup community events within Fishburners and the hub. Examples of recent speakers have included the former Spotify CTO, Koala’s co-founder as well as key leads and managers from Google, Atlassian and Canva.
You will be part of an exciting startup culture, working alongside talented and driven individuals, and contributing to the success of a company that is helping businesses do better for their employees.
You will have access to all of our fitness and wellbeing perks too!
We welcome applications from both students seeking internship experience and recent graduates eager to kick-start their careers.

DESIRED SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • A positive can-do attitude and a passion for what WHEREFIT is trying to achieve.
  • Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate with management and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic culture and perform under pressure.
  • An interest in fitness, health and well being is an advantage but is not required.
  • Nice to have: experience working in a start-up environment.
  • A minimum of three days per week onsite attendance at our Sydney CBD office is required.
