Description:
Job Summary
As a Process Engineering Intern, you will support the engineering team in optimizing manufacturing processes, improving efficiency, and ensuring product quality. This role offers hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, providing an opportunity to apply engineering principles to real-world challenges.
- Assist in the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes.
- Conduct data analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Support the implementation of process improvements and new technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process efficiency and product quality.
- Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities.
- Document and report on process performance and improvements.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of process engineering principles.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Required Experience:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Completed coursework in process engineering or related subjects.
Preferred (optional):
- Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Experience with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
