POSITION

We are looking for a Milan based Intern Procurement Consulting (all genders) to join our Procurement department to manage strategic consulting projects for our global corporate customers. You will support our team to help clients to create and implement travel procurement strategies, optimize and manage their global hotel spending and ensure a seamless travel experience for their employees.

Tasks

  • Manage hotel programs of clients, including strategy definition, hotel procurement and continuous hotel program management
  • Conduct analyses and derive insights from client data and extensive HRS global benchmark data to identify hotel spend optimization potential
  • Manage the sourcing projects with client team members as well as consultant peers across the world
  • Work hand-in-hand with our global procurement and sales organization

Requirements

  • Education background in Business Management or similar
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and experience i.e. using formulas
  • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and a passion for translating data into actionable, meaningful insights
  • Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills
  • Organisational skills as well as the ability to adapt and prioritise in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Curious mindset, with the ability to think outside the box
  • Innovative individual with a problem-solving approach
  • Fluency in English spoken and written (other European languages are a plus)
