Responsibilities:
AS AN INTERNAL TRAINEE, YOUR MAIN TASKS WOULD IN PARTICULAR INCLUDE:
- Assisting the Team in the following-up on international market practices.
- Assisting the Team in working in collaboration with relevant stakeholders on various markets (withholding agents, tax authorities, custodians, etc;
- Perform day-to-day administrative tasks in order to support further the entire tax process from A to Z;
- Ensure that all supportive documents and guidelines are always up to date aiming at providing quality customer care.
- Liaise with other units/sections at Clearstream (Tax Processing, Tax Helpdesk, Network, Risk, Compliance, etc) where necessary.
- Get in-depth Tax knowledge of Clearstream tax processes and on various tax specificities on local markets (European/International).
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support to the Team on the different topics and projects the Team is working on (Tax optimization processes, update of tax guides and tax matrix, significant changes in specific tax markets (Italy, Finland, etc).
- Be responsible for internal reporting activities (weekly reporting, maintenance of working list…);
- Be responsible for internal processes regarding contract management, publication, documentation submission to various committees;
- Support a team attitude rather than individualism;
- Execute work assignment in due time;
- Learn to escalate and report issues to relevant Responsible/Unit;
- Webinar / meeting / seminar preparation and participation;
