Description:

THE POSITION

Due to growth in our Governance and Risk Advisory services, we are seeking a suitably qualified Internal Auditors to join the team. An integral member of the team, this position works autonomously to provide high-level support on governance, risk management, internal audit, quality assurance and better practice advice to our valued clients. This position is also responsible for providing guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team.

Key accountabilities will include, but is not limited to:

  • leading multiple client engagements and supervision of staff and is responsible for budget and quality and timeliness of client deliverables
  • conducting meetings either face to face or remotely with clients
  • reviewing client business processes and analysing their documentation to improve their processes
  • ensuring clients are following legislative requirements and give guidance on better practice approaches
  • prepare detailed reports on the results of our work which will be presented to Boards and Audit Committees
  • assist the team with the preparation of client proposals
  • assist with the preparation and delivery of client workshops
  • identifying business development opportunities for the team and Moore Australia.
