Description:
We are looking for a talented trainer to join our team and participate in the delivery of training across the Voyage Care Group utilising various methods of delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring all employees are trained in line with legislation, contractual agreements, Policy and Procedure and individual need.
As a trainer you should be able to work within a team and on your own initiative delivering training and developing bespoke training packages in line with the needs of the business and the people we support.
Responsibilities:
- To support the Learning and Development Team by working as a member of the team in developing and fulfilling training strategies for the company to support its business objectives.
- To actively participate in the development, planning and delivery of induction programmes, mandatory, value based and specialism training (including Specialist Behavioral Support Service, new development and acquisition inductions) throughout the company in various locations, utilising different methods of delivery to ensure the appropriate level of training to meet the company objectives.
- To liaise with both internal and external SME’s to ensure existing content is kept up to date with current legislation, standards and company policy.
- To actively participate in the delivery of training provision and development opportunities for all staff across the company, ensuring the most effective use of resources and appropriateness of delivery.
- To work with the Senior Training Team ensuring training programmes are in place, available corporately and locally to meet individual and service need requirements that are reviewed in line with current practice and trends.
- To maintain accurate course attendance and training records using the systems available within the business.
- To evaluate effectiveness of learning materials and update these accordingly.
- To contribute to all aspects of training and assessment throughout the organisation to ensure a fully qualified workforce, compliant with the National Minimum Standards, Regulatory Requirements and Policy & Procedure.
- To provide operations with advice, support and guidance regarding training and assist with the development of new services and newly recruited staff throughout the organisation.
- To support the Learning and Development Team with the development of innovative, flexible and appropriate initiatives to meet the company’s training needs.
